Neha Pandey is an Independent artist/ Indian pop singer/playback singer/ bollywood singer. Her music contains elements of pop, hip hop, soul, R&B & Indian folk.

Neha sings in English, Hindi & Arabic.

She is well-known for her independent pop track Busy Busy.[1] which was launched in 2018 with 9X Media's SpotlampE[2]. The song has over 3.6 million views[3] since its launch on October 2018 on YouTube.

Neha is credited to be the 1st Indian Artist who has sung original numbers in Arabic[4].

She has established a laudable reputation as a singer in the UAE[5]. Neha is fond of live performances and her shows have been hit with the masses, not only in UAE but also in India.

In September 2019, Neha gave a live performance at Tashan Nites/ 9X Tashan.

The multi-faceted Neha[6] is also the founder of an events consultancy that specializes in artfully designed and perfectly planned events and celebrations called Bella Bee.

Born in Uttar Pradesh on November 04, Neha spent her childhood years between Mussorie, Dehradun, Delhi and Lucknow. Currently, she lives in Dubai[7] and UK.

Early Life

Neha's musical endeavor began at an early age of 9 at school singing competition in Loreto Convent Lucknow, India. Neha got personally trained for Indian Classical by Bhatkhande vocal coaches in Lucknow. She won awards and accolades during her school and college days in Lucknow and Delhi for her singing abilities.

In the 1990s Neha started gospel singing at the local churches in Lucknow. The response was positive and that encouraged her to choose her path in singing. She collaborated with other singers to start her own indie rock band to perform across the churches of North India.

Neha's Music

Her love for music took a noticeable turn when she became a professional singer at the age of 17 and joined a band called 'Warm' as the Lead Singer[8]. The band, Warm won 'Tere Liye Contest' that was held in Ahmadabad in 2001. After being adjudged as the Best Singer, Neha Pandey never looked back.

She composed music and sang her numbers, learning the piano under the tutelage of Mr. Sebastian D'Souza

In the year 2012, Neha moved to Tasmania. Collaborating with music composer and keyboard player Carly Allen and talented Ben Briscoe at the drums, Neha joined the music band 'Sheesha Nights' in 2012. The trio's first song 'Belly Dancer' was released on iTunes and Facebook. The song was well received.

The band gained popularity amongst the locals and the song was played on ABC Hobart Radio.

Neha participated in the Channel V Popstars and was chosen as the city finalist in 2003.

In the year 2017 Neha’s single Na Roko, was aired on MTV in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Americas and Australia.

On October 8, 2018, her song Busy Busy hit the charts. This upbeat peppy track is launched by SpotlampE at 9X Media Pvt. Ltd. The track is written by lyricist Kumaar and composed by Gourov-Roshin. On October 15, 2021, singer Neha Pandey released “Ya Wahi”[9]. The song was shot in collaboration with Nikon Middle East FZE.

September 20, 2022, Neha and composer Shabbir Ahmed released Dil Me Baje with SpotlampE

Bhojpuri song, Belauz Ke Batam was produced in 2022 under the song label, King Music Bhojpuri.

Neha welcomed 2023 with a Hindi track, Tu Hi Tu that was released by the independent music label, Throan Of Art Music in February 2023. Popular Hindi Newspaper Navbharat Times covered the positive reception of the new track in March 2023.

March 14, 2023, reputed media house, ABP NEWS Bureau covered her inspirations and her love for music. Neha acknowledged that Mohammed Rafi and Asha Bhosle inspired her musical journey.

November 9, 2022, correspondent Sonal Verma covered an exclusive about Neha's musical journey through the years in an online article for Zee News.

November 8, 2022, correspondent Raima Ganguly covered Neha Pandey's collaboration with lyricist Shabbir Ahmed and the music release for the track, 'Dil Mein Baje' on Indian Express.

October 2012 brought into focus how Neha Pandey changed professions to make music her full-time priority. It brings into focus the collaborative efforts for Sheesha Nights. The article was penned by the then senior reporter of Gulf News, Kelly Crane.[10]
