Neemod is a small village of 596 hectares in Malarna Doongar Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Neemod depends on SAWAI MADHOPUR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Neemod is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Neemod's pin code is 322030[4], and village code is 01287900. The area of Neemod is segregated as 404 hectares irrigated area, the 81 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 111.12 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Sawai Madhopur to sell wood furniture and make their living.
