Nayomini Ratnayake Weerasooriya (born 13 October 1965) is a Sri Lankan journalist, writer, and entrepreneur.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

She commenced her career as a journalist with Independent Newspapers back in the 1980s, at Sun (Ceylon). She also worked as a journalist for the Inter Press Service in Bonn, Germany from 1984 to 1986.

Following a successful career in journalism, she went into Public Relations; having worked with several leading corporates in Sri Lanka in PR. In 1995 she founded her own PR agency; Niche Corporate Communications,[9] one of the very first PR agencies in Sri Lanka. They have worked with and continues with work with leading local and global brand names and companies.[10][11][12][13]

In 1998, Nayomini founded Satyn (magazine), an English Language Sri Lankan, monthly women's lifestyle magazine, which is one of Sri Lanka’s leading women’s magazines.[14]
