Nawa Gaon is a small village of 975 hectares in Banswara Tehsil in Banswara district, also known as City of Hundred Islands in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nawa Gaon depends on Banswara, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Nawa Gaon is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Nawa Gaon's pin code is 327001[4], and village code is 03447800. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Banswara to sell bricks and make their living.
