Naveen Singh Suhag is a Swiss athlete and entrepreneur with a career spanning multiple fields, primarily IT and medicine. He co-founded Inery Blockchain[1], which is a company that specializes in decentralized database management. He currently serves as the CEO.

Early Life and Education

Dr. Naveen Singh was born on October 20, 1982. The foundation of his athletic career was laid in his childhood, as he was inclined towards sports and made it an integral part of his daily routine alongside his studies. He received his early education in India, and Switzerland and went on to receive training in various countries including Russia, India, Switzerland, Germany, and the United States to further his athletic pursuits.

This extensive training and education have allowed him to build a successful career in sports; representing Switzerland and India in international competitions, as an Olympic-style wrestler. He holds a Ph.D. in Sports Science from Maharshi Dayanand University and has several published research papers.

Career

Telecommunication and Healthcare

In the first half of 2010, Dr. Naveen Singh entered the emerging market of Mobile virtual network operators and MNO. He became a partner in San Marino Telecom which was founded by Simon Murray (businessman) who also served as the SMT chairman of the board.[2]

In 2011, he acquired Carrefour Mobile in Italy. Dr. Naveen changed the company’s name to “One mobile” and captured a significant ethnic market in Italy that could call back home to their home countries at a much lower price than other mobile operators.

Later in 2012, he played an instrumental role in the launch of GEO Mobile Technology, serving as the company's President.[3] The Swiss service company specialized in innovative SIM cards based on real Multi-IMSI International mobile subscriber identity technology and was focused on eliminating high roaming charges in 3G/VoIP/GSM Mobile services globally.[4] The service was targeted toward leisure and business travel, universities, governments, and other markets.

Between 2015 and 2016, Dr. Naveen along with Ivan Vujic entered the health tech industry when they founded “Y-HLTH” – one of the first companies to build a platform for the secure Electronic health record of medical records and health data via mobile applications.

Dr. Naveen Singh has experience in sports medicine and has established three clinics - Mosaic My Health, Orthocure Sportsmed, and Mediquai Zurich - that provide specialized rehabilitation services for patients with Sports injury.[5][6]These facilities, located in Montenegro, Dubai, and Switzerland, provide world-class medical facilities to cater to the needs of patients from across the globe.

Inery

In 2019, Dr. Naveen Singh ventured into the blockchain sector and co-founded Inery Blockchain, a company dedicated to true decentralization and better data security through its blockchain-based Database#Database management system.[7][8]

Dr. Naveen Singh assembled a team of experts and successful businessmen, such as chairman Simon Murray (businessman)[9] and Satjiv S. Chahil|Satjiv S Chahil, to develop Inery with the aim of addressing the shortcomings of centralized database management systems, such as single point of failure, high latency, poor data security, and so on.[10] The company's goal is to offer individuals, governments, organizations, and enterprises a transparent, secure, and trustworthy way of data management and data storage.

He is an avid speaker at blockchain summits around the globe representing topics like decentralization, Web3, various aspects of data security, and innovative data management.[11] [12][13]

Awards and Recognitions

Dr. Naveen Singh has received numerous awards including the Best NRI Award presented by the Indian Government, the Swiss-Indian Healthtech Innovation delegate, Best NRI Businessman Award, and recognition from India at the United Nations.[14][15] He has also been honored for his achievements in sports including the Indian and Swiss National Wrestling Champion, NGO Stronger India Foundation Award, and the First Pravasi Haryana Samaan Award.

Philanthropy

Dr. Naveen Singh is dedicated to social activism and philanthropy, serving as the founder of the non-profit organization Stronger India Foundation, which assists socially and economically disadvantaged young people and children to achieve their dreams in India.

Personal Life

Naveen Singh Suhag was born into a family with a strong athletic background, as both his mother and father were accomplished athletes in their respective fields; which embedded traits like hard work, discipline, and resilience into him since childhood.

Naveen Singh engages in a healthy lifestyle through practices such as yoga and meditation, and he enjoys playing golf.
