Nathan Soret is a Belgian television and radio presenter for RTL Belgium, born on June 7, 1995 in Malmedy[1].

Biography

He began his career in the media world at the age of 14 by launching a personal blog. The French media Le Figaro then offered him a position as a guest blogger on their site. He conducted several interviews, including with artists Stromae, Grand Corps Malade, and James Deano.

A few months later, in 2010, he joined the editorial staff of the local newspaper La Meuse Verviers (Sudinfo), and then became a contributor to the high-tech websites of the newspaper Le Soir[2].

In 2012, he was spotted by RTL Belgium to manage the social networks of the show Belgium's Got Talent[3]. In parallel, he made his first steps in radio on the Brussels urban music station Radio KIF[4].

In 2014, he joined the team of the 16-20 show with presenter David Antoine on Radio Contact. He also took over the Sunday time slot from 4 pm to 8 pm, as well as managing the station's social networks.

In 2015, he made his first steps in television by joining the show "Tout s'explique", hosted by Thomas Van Hamme and then Maria Del Rio[5]. Since 2018, he has also been featured every Saturday on the show "Waldorado" on RTL TVI, where he highlights companies that are hiring in Wallonia[6].

In 2015, he co-founded the social impact project "Young Change Maker"[7], which organizes a series of conferences in Belgium and France. These free conferences aim to showcase young change-makers in various fields[8].

In 2017, he put aside his radio activities and created his own communication and public relations agency, "Nonante Cinq" (a reference to his birth year and Belgianism).

Since then, and in parallel with his television activities, Nathan Soret regularly intervenes as a podcast host and speaker. He is also a trainer at the Start Lab ICHEC and at ICHEC Formation Continue and was invited by IHECS to the media jury of the PR section in 2021

Distinctions

In 2013, ELLE Belgium magazine included him in their special edition as one of the "10 young talents of tomorrow," alongside singer and model Claire Laffut, fashion designer Louis-Gabriel Nouchi, and actress Ambre Grouwels[9].

In 2018, the newspaper La Meuse Verviers named him "Star of the Year" as an influencer[10].
