Nathan Klarer is an American entrepreneur,[1] businessman, and engineer.[2] He is the COO and a founder of Datyra, an American advanced engineering firm.[3]

Early life and education

Klarer was born in La Jolla, CA, to Katherine and Keith Klarer. He is of Ashkenazi Jewish and Anglo-Saxon English descent. At the age of five, he developed an interest in martial arts. He joined the American Taekwondo Association and holds a black belt. Klarer was a varsity wrestler on the Carlsbad High School wrestling team and subsequently pursued training in Muay Thai and Haganah.

Klarer completed a degree in Bioengineering[4] at The Jacobs School of Engineering, University of California, San Diego, in 2014.[5][6] He was a member of The Eleanor Roosevelt College Honors Program and received professional training in machine learning and artificial intelligence.

Career

Entrepreneur Klarer started his entrepreneurial career by moving to Silicon Valley in 2014 and launching BridgeCrest Medical.[7][8] He served as the CEO and led the development of their biometric fatigue detection solution deployed to several global Fortune 2000 companies. BridgeCrest was later sold to an Australian private equity group with the intent to list on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Klarer joined Core Scientific (NASDAQ:CORZQ) as an early employee before the establishment of their first headquarters in Seattle.
