Nathan Chase Plummer (born April 18, 1980) is an American author, athlete, and podcast producer.[1] He is best known for his bestselling illustrated children's book The Boy Who Loved Unicorns and the Look Great Naked book series.[2] He also hosts a YouTube cooking series titled The Look Great Naked Cooking Show![3][4]

Plummer is the founder of NC Productions, a production firm based in Utah, and also serves as the senior project manager for LaunchPod Media. He is also an Anti-Bully Activist and is often seen promoting this agenda at national conferences. He is a strong proponent of accepting oneself and shares this message via all his social media platforms.[5]

Early life and education

Plummer was born on April 18, 1980, to Nathan Vern Plummer and Jackie Lin Plummer. He grew up in Bern, Idaho; Apple Valley, California; and Farmington, Utah. Later, Plummer received two Bachelor’s degrees, one in Business Administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurship, as well as English with an emphasis in Creative Writing, both from Utah State University.

Career

Plummer began his career in 2005 as a marketing manager for Buffalo Ranch. He worked for over six years with this organization and was responsible for all aspects of marketing, communication, and design.[6]

In 2012, Plummer landed a contractual job at BBC Worldwide as a project director. In the same year, he also founded NC Productions, a marketing and advertising firm based in Salt Lake City. Under this namesake brand, Plummer has released four best-selling books.[7][8]

In 2013 he joined Ferrari Color as a senior project manager where he served for over six years working on large-scale projects for top accounts such as Starbucks, Ducati, Nordstrom, Whole Foods, and Levis. In 2020, Plummer became a senior project manager for LaunchPod Media, a renowned broadcast media production and distribution house.[9]

Through exquisite storybook pictures by a renowned European artist, Plummer's book, The Boy Who Loved Unicorns[10] presents the uplifting and inspirational story reinforcing the message that being different is celebrated, advocating acceptance and an anti-bullying message. He also wrote the Look Great Naked book series,[11] which offers a lighthearted approach to healthy cooking and cuisine, as well as Look Great Naked: The Workouts, an illustrated guide to Plummer's personal workouts, supplementation, and diet.

Plummer also hosts a YouTube cooking series, "The Look Great Naked Cooking Show"! He is currently working on two more installments of the Look Great Naked Cookbook series, as well as a full-length gothic novel.

Personal life

He enjoys exploring the world and pursuing new experiences, as well as cooking different international dishes in his spare time. He has traveled across 25 countries as of 2022 and is currently residing in the state of Utah.
