Natalie Winters (born 2001) is an American investigative journalist recognized for her in-depth reporting on political affairs, national security, and foreign influence operations.[1] She currently serves as the White House correspondent and co-host of War Room, a political commentary show founded by Steve Bannon.[2]

Early life and education

Winters was born in Santa Monica, California. She attended the University of Chicago, where she studied political science and developed an interest in investigative journalism and conservative politics.

Career

Winters began her journalism career as an investigative reporter for The National Pulse led by Raheem Kassam, where she focused on uncovering Chinese Communist Party influence operations and political corruption.[3] Her reporting helped expose foreign lobbying efforts, funding connections, and policy influence within the United States.[4]

In 2021, she joined War Room as a co-host and producer, expanding her role in political journalism. In January 2025, at the age of 23, Winters was appointed as the White House correspondent for War Room, making her one of the youngest journalists to hold the position.[5] Her appointment was part of an effort by White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt to include more voices from new media platforms in press briefings, but has led criticisms.[6][7]
