Natalie Gordon is a Canadian and American entrepreneur. She is the founder and CEO of Babylist, a universal baby registry, e-commerce, and content website launched in 2011.

Early life and education

Gordon was born in Canada and attended the University of Waterloo where she earned an undergraduate degree in computer science.[1]

Career

Gordon worked as a software developer before becoming the CEO of Babylist.[1] During her time as a software developer, Gordon worked at Amazon for four years, where she was a member of the team that launched Amazon Fresh.[2]

Babylist

Gordon founded Babylist in 2011 while pregnant with her first child and in search of a baby registry website that worked across different retailers and also acted as a universal parenting resource.[3] After creating the code for Babylist’s initial universal registry capabilities, Gordon relied on initial testing from other engineers on HackerNews.[4]
