Narwar is a small village of 926 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Narwar depends on Ajmer, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, which is 234.97% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Narwar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tubewell. Narwar's pin code is 305811[4], and village code is 02501200. The area of Narwar is segregated as 234.97 hectares irrigated area, 270.6 hectares unirrigated, the 88.33 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 180.6 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ajmer to sell ghee and make their living.
