Naroa is a small village of 139 hectares in Tiswadi Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Naroa depends on PANAJI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Naroa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Naroa's pin code is 403104[5], and village code is 00006700. The area of Naroa is segregated as 74.42 hectares unirrigated, the 7.02 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 57.33 hectare area not available for cultivation.

The village is connected with a single bus service. Naroa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

Naroa is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 487 and has total administration over 119 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of PANAJI and North Goa to sell fish and make their living.
