Narayanpur is a small village of 2513 hectares in Thanagazi Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Narayanpur depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 824.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Narayanpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Narayanpur's pin code is 301024[4], and village code is 00881200. The area of Narayanpur is segregated as 1224 hectares irrigated area, 449 hectares unirrigated, the 202 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 638 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Alwar to sell carpet making and make their living.
