Narayan Nagar is a small village of 346 hectares in Shergarh Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Narayan Nagar depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Narayan Nagar is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Narayan Nagar's pin code is 342001[4], and village code is 01990900. The area of Narayan Nagar is segregated as 334 hectares unirrigated, remaining 12 hectare area not available for cultivation.
