Naran Khera is a small village of 854 hectares in Shahbad Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Naran Khera depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Naran Khera is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Naran Khera's pin code is 325217[4], and village code is 03932900. The area of Naran Khera is segregated as 94 hectares irrigated area, 300 hectares unirrigated, the 430.09 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).
