Nangpura is a small village of 222 hectares in Rashmi Tehsil in Chittorgarh district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nangpura depends on Kapasan, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 14.10% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nangpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nangpura's pin code is 312203[4], and village code is 03532700. The area of Nangpura is segregated as 24.16 hectares irrigated area, 152.14 hectares unirrigated, the 34.08 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 12.05 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Kapasan and Chittorgarh to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
