Nangal Udiya is a small village of 417 hectares in Mandawar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nangal Udiya depends on KHAIRTHAL, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nangal Udiya is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nangal Udiya's pin code is 301427[4], and village code is 00773700. The area of Nangal Udiya is segregated as 267 hectares irrigated area, 118 hectares unirrigated, the 5 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 27 hectare area not available for cultivation.
