Nangal Turkan is a small village of 143 hectares in Amber Tehsil in Jaipur district, also known as the Pink City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nangal Turkan depends on Jaipur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 35.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nangal Turkan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nangal Turkan's pin code is 302028[4], and village code is 01580000. The area of Nangal Turkan is segregated as 35 hectares irrigated area, 40 hectares unirrigated, the 2 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 66 hectare area not available for cultivation.
