Nangal is a small village of 31 hectares in Baraut Tehsil in Bagpat district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nangal depends on Chhaprauli (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nangal's pin code is 250617[4], and village code is 01037700. The area of Nangal is segregated as 341.4 hectares irrigated area. the 16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 251 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Chhaprauli (NP) and Bagpat to sell jaggery and make their living.
