Nandwan is a small village of 2361 hectares in Luni Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nandwan depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nandwan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nandwan's pin code is 342013[4], and village code is 01994800. The area of Nandwan is segregated as 56.65 hectares irrigated area, 2061.4 hectares unirrigated, the 169.96 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 72.84 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Jodhpur to sell milk and make their living.
