Nandpura is a small village of 237 hectares in Gangapur Tehsil in Sawai Madhopur district, also known for Ranthambore National Park in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nandpura depends on GANGAPUR CITY, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Nandpura is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nandpura's pin code is 322201[4], and village code is 01270200. The area of Nandpura is segregated as 169.14 hectares irrigated area, 11.82 hectares unirrigated, the 34.16 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 21.77 hectare area not available for cultivation.
