Nandiya Kalan is a small village of 4090 hectares in Osian Tehsil in Jodhpur district, also known as the Blue City in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nandiya Kalan depends on Jodhpur, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nandiya Kalan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nandiya Kalan's pin code is 342037[4], and village code is 01942500. The area of Nandiya Kalan is segregated as 527.16 hectares irrigated area, 1877.33 hectares unirrigated, the 199.23 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 1486.24 hectare area not available for cultivation.
