Nandaon is a small village of 1144 hectares in Nizamabad Tehsil in Azamgarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nandaon depends on Sarai Mir (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Nandaon's pin code is 276305[4], and village code is 08764200. The area of Nandaon is segregated as 735 hectares irrigated area, 228 hectares unirrigated area. the 79 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves) and remaining 107 hectare area not available for cultivation.
