Nand is a small village of 1646 hectares in Ajmer Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nand depends on Pushkar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 48.15% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nand is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nand's pin code is 305022[4], and village code is 02504600. The area of Nand is segregated as 318.95 hectares irrigated area, 362.13 hectares unirrigated, the 582.86 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 173.45 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nand is a census village in the district of Ajmer, Rajasthan. The village has a total population of 2315 and has total administration over 449 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Pushkar and Ajmer to sell rope making and make their living.
