Najum Tariq (Urdu: نجم طارق; born 01 November 1995)[1] also known as Najam Ul Saqib Ahmed Tariq is a Pakistani engineer and armed forces officer who serves in BPS-17 grade. He is an officer of Pakistan Army Corps of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering.
Early life and education
Najum Tariq was born to Tariq Mahmood Akhter on November 01, 1995. He studied at Government College University, Lahore. He is alumnus of National University of Sciences Technology (NUST)[2] from where he graduated with a degree in electrical engineering[3][4]. Najum Tariq started his schooling at APS Quetta Cantt & eventually did his matriculation and intermediate from Garrion Academy Kharian Cantt. He did bachelors in electrical engineering from College of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering NUST.
Career in armed forces
Najum Tariq joined the Pakistan Army on Dec 05, 2018. After successful completion of training at Military College of Engineering (Pakistan) he got commissioned as an officer on May 04, 2019 and was posted to Rawalpindi[5].
