Nahar Khohra is a small village of 376 hectares in Lachhmangarh Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nahar Khohra depends on KHERLI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nahar Khohra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nahar Khohra's pin code is 301035[4], and village code is 00933700. The area of Nahar Khohra is segregated as 124 hectares irrigated area, 165 hectares unirrigated, the 3 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 28 hectare area not available for cultivation.
