Naguem is a small village of 343 hectares in Satari Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Naguem depends on VALPOI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Naguem is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Naguem's pin code is 403506[5], and village code is 00015700. The area of Naguem is segregated as 128.21 hectares unirrigated, the 14.95 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 5.36 hectare area not available for cultivation.
Naguem has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
The village has an uninterrupted 24 hours electric supply from a power grid.

Naguem is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 479 and has total administration over 105 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

The workforce is 110 male, 39 female with 118 (79.19%) of all workers being employed full-time, this includes 98 males and 20 females. 8 males and 2 females are considered as the main cultivators. 31 people are reported to work for a marginal period of time in the year.
They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of VALPOI and North Goa to sell cashew nuts and make their living.
