Nagon Ki Dhani is a small village of 12224 hectares in Jaisalmer Tehsil in Jaisalmer district, nicknamed ""The Golden city"" in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagon Ki Dhani depends on JAISALMER, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, One canal and Two springs. Nagon Ki Dhani is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tanker. Nagon Ki Dhani's pin code is 345001[4], and village code is 02015200. The area of Nagon Ki Dhani is segregated as 4890 hectares irrigated area, 2443 hectares unirrigated, the 2445 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 2446 hectare area not available for cultivation.
