Nagla Jar is a small village of 132.7 hectares in Iglas Tehsil in Aligarh district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagla Jar depends on Iglas (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nagla Jar's pin code is 202002[4], and village code is 01402000. The area of Nagla Jar is segregated as 125 hectares irrigated area, 7 hectares unirrigated area.

Nagla Jar has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.
