Nagla Charan is a small village of 157 hectares in Alwar Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagla Charan depends on ALWAR, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 20.48% of the total supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nagla Charan is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nagla Charan's pin code is 301030[4], and village code is 00856600. The area of Nagla Charan is segregated as 92.76 hectares irrigated area, 37.44 hectares unirrigated, the 15.85 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 11.38 hectare area not available for cultivation.
