Nagla Chahra is a small village of 121 hectares in Kaman Tehsil in Bharatpur district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagla Chahra depends on Kaman, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nagla Chahra is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nagla Chahra's pin code is 321023[4], and village code is 00968100. The area of Nagla Chahra is segregated as 62.02 hectares irrigated area, 46.13 hectares unirrigated, the 2.89 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 9.95 hectare area not available for cultivation.
