Nagelao is a small village of 2551 hectares in Peesangan Tehsil in Ajmer district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagelao depends on Beawar, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, which is 62.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nagelao is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Nagelao's pin code is 305207[4], and village code is 02512300. The area of Nagelao is segregated as 412 hectares irrigated area, 1048 hectares unirrigated, the 133 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 958 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Beawar and Ajmer to sell earthen pot and make their living.
