Nagawa is a small village of 472.3 hectares in Ballia Tehsil in Ballia district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagawa depends on Ballia (MB), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply, One tubewell and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Nagawa's pin code is 277401[4], and village code is 09234400. The area of Nagawa is segregated as 150 hectares irrigated area, 300 hectares unirrigated area. and remaining 22 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nagawa has One post office (Nagwa B.O) and Nine public telephones. The village is connected with a single bus service. Nagawa has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Ballia (MB) and Ballia to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
