Nagai is a small village of 217.6 hectares in Tulsipur Tehsil in Balrampur district in the State of Uttar Pradesh, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nagai depends on Tulsipur (NP), the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One Well supply and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Nagai's pin code is 271208[4], and village code is 06661200. The area of Nagai is segregated as , 120.17 hectares unirrigated area. the 8.14 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves).

Nagai has Two banks and Two credit societies for the regulation of economic activity. The village is also equipped with Two recreational centers.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Tulsipur (NP) and Balrampur to sell earthen utensil and make their living.
