Nadya Toncheva (in Bulgarian Надя Тончева), born 5 December 2005 in Sofia, is a Bulgarian chess player. She holds FIDE titles Fide Master (FM, 2021) and Woman International Master (WIM, 2022).
Nadya Toncheva began playing chess at the age of seven. Since 2016 she is coached by Bulgarian Grandmaster Vladimir Dimitrov.
In October - December 2020 with standard FIDE ELO = 2321 Nadya Toncheva was the leader of the FIDE rating rank list among girls under 15 years of age..[1]
In January 2021 with standard FIDE ELO = 2321 Nadya Toncheva was the leader of the FIDE rating rank list among girls under 16 years of age.[2]
In March 2023 Nadya Toncheva finished 9th in the Women's European Individual Chess Championship[3]. There she scored her first norm for the International Master (IM) title and also qualified for the Women's Chess World Cup 2023 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
