Nadjhla Gracia (born April 28, 1987), is an American fashion designer and entrepreneur.

Early life

Nadjhla Gracia was born in South Beach, Florida, and attended North Miami Beach High School, where she learned about fashion design by taking Introduction to sewing classes. Designing and sewing homecoming gowns for her friends became her free enterprise, eventually growing into the swimwear brand NADJEA[1]. Nadjhla went on to attend Miami International University of Art & Design where she graduated in 2010, with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion design[2]

Career

Nadjhla grew her custom designs to become an in-house fashion boutique, NADJEA Fashion Boutique, located inside of the Richmond Hotel, South Beach, FL[3]. In partnership with third-generation owners of the Richmond Hotel, Patti and Allan Herbert, a first for the Richmond Hotel since its grand opening in1941[4]. With a swimwear boutique located inside of the Richmond Hotel, Nadjhla perfectly complemented the Art Deco aesthetics with clean lines, bold colors, and geometrical cuts from her swimwear brand NADJEA[5]

Nadjhla attracted a distinct list of patrons to the renowned Richmond Hotel, which included award-winning photographers, esteemed fashion models, and influencers[6]. Notably commissioning custom designs for celebrity director and photographer Ray Kay, in addition to digital media marketing campaigns in partnership with hotels within the South Beach Market.
