Nachinola is a small village of 244 hectares in Bardez Tehsil in North Goa district, known and rated to have the best quality of life in India (based on the commission’s “12 Indicators”)[2] in the state of Goa, India.[3] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Nachinola depends on MAPUSA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[4] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, One Well supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and Two handpumps. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Nachinola is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Tap. Nachinola's pin code is 403508[5], and village code is 00004900. The area of Nachinola is segregated as 1.33 hectares irrigated area, 105.34 hectares unirrigated, the 67.98 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 69.4 hectare area not available for cultivation.

Nachinola is a census village in the district of North Goa, Goa. The village has a total population of 2725 and has total administration over 645 houses which are connected to supplies basic amenities like water and sewerage.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of MAPUSA and North Goa to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
