In 2015, Aan asked Hendra to play in a band with him, but they couldn't determine the genre of the band. It was a mingling of grunge and punk music. Their shared reference and musical interest led them to be joined by Thata, their first drummer, in 2017. The name Nevermind itself started from being inspired by Aan and Hendra on the second album of the grunge band from the United States Nirvana, which inspired them both in their stage performance. The most important thing is to continue working and never stop, regardless of whether people are happy with the work they create. Nevermind's first demo album called 'Something's Wrong' was produced and released by Aan and Hendra in May of 2017. The majority of the material in this album comes from their daily lives. This album was finished by Aan and Hendra while they were working on their Thesis during the college year.
In mid-2019, Nevermind acquired a new guitarist named 'Abi', who completed the arrival of drummer 'Bebe' who replaced "Thata" in the mid-2018.
They release 'About a Girl' in 2020. They remade this song from their first album. Their genre and vibe evolved into Heavy Pop Punk or Modern Pop Punk after the release of 'My Own Worst Enemy' the following year. They completed and released their primary LP album, 'Life, Prejudice And Arise' online through their own label BedroomDwellerRecords. The quality of the recording that they are still working on has grown as the color and composition of their music have matured in this new album. Over the years, they have composed numerous songs and continue to pursue their belief that chances are never dull.
Musical styles
Their music had a heavier sound and was infused with musicality. Starting with lower guitar tuning and compressed screaming backing vocals. Music is influenced by sounds packaged from other sub-genres, which they consider as the main reference. In addition to the references from the entities mentioned, Nevermind also received an injection of ideas to explore sound and add ornaments outside of the Pop Punk vibes.
