N. V. Raghava Chary (18 March 1913 – 14 December 1994) (also known by pen name Meena 2) was an Indian astrologer in modern India. He was instrumental in making Nadi Astrology (Stellar Astrology) or Hindu astrology known and respected throughout India and across the world. [1]
Biography
After completing his B.A. studies, he joined the Indian Railway Service in 1936 at Bangalore. In 1948, he left for higher studies to the then Bombay Presidency since he was dissatisfied with the Railway Service. After completing law degree, he went to native place for practice of law.
Astrology
He had a keen interest in Astrology from young age and wanted to learn Astrology to an extent of perfection. He met Bhaskara Sastriar who gave him a glimpse of Satyacharyam. During service at Railways, he met R. Gopalakrishna Row who was employed as Signaller at Bangalore, adjacent to his office. The duo had series of discussions on various systems of astrology. He did 60 years of research in Astrology and invented Meena 2 Naadi system which is based on the works of Dhruva Naadi (authored by Sage Satyacharya), Budha Naadi, Sugar Peru Naadi (authored by Sage Sugar Peru).
