Myles Charvis (born Sept 22 1994)) is a Canadian basketball player currently playing for Itzehoe Eagles and Guelph Nighthawks. He played college basketball for the Ryerson Rams and Waterloo Warriors

College

Waterloo Warriors

In 2013, Charvis started in 21 out of 22 games during the season and averaged 14 points and 3 rebounds a night as the Waterloo Warriors went 8-18 and Charvis was awarded the Ontario University Athletics Letterman Award, for the Rookie-of-the-Year. In 20 games with Waterloo during the during the 2014-15 season Charvis averaged 20.3 points per game while adding 4.9 rebounds and 3.5 assists. The team improved to 11-19 but that would be his last season with Waterloo.

Ryerson Rams

After transferring to Ryerson Rams, for the 2016-17 season Charvis had 9.3 points per game but was shooting and incredible 43% from the 3 point line which was good for 7th in the OUA .The Rams went 27 and 6 and won the Ontario University Athletics Championship. The next year (2017-18) Charvis posted 12 points a game on 44% from the floor and grabbed 45 steals on the season. Ryerson when dropped down to 25-12 and lost in the OUA championship. In his last year of college, 2019 Myles started all 23 games and averaged a career high of 16 points and 3.7 rebounds per night. He was named the 2018-19 team MVP and an OUA Second-Team All-Star for the first time in his career. Finished his career ranked second in all-time program assists (272) and eighth in steals (112).[1][2][3]

Professional Career

Guelph Nighthawks (2019)

After college, Charvis signed with the Guelph Nighthawks of the Canadian Elite Basketball League for the 2019 season

In 11 games with the Nighthawks during the 2019 CEBL season, Charvis averaged 10 points, 5 assist and 1 steal a game playing against some of the toughest talent in Canada[4]

KW Titans (2019–2020)

During the CEBL offseason, Charvis stayed in Canada and signed to play with the KW Titans of NBL Canada

In 2 games in Kitchener--Waterloo He had an great line of 13.5 ppg, 3 rebounds a game[5] but that was all he was able to contribute as he was ruled out due to injury and did not play again as the season was stoped in March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.[6]

Guelph Nighthawks (2020, 2021)

Charvis would resign with the Nighthawks for both the 2020 and 2021 seasons.

During the 2020 CEBL season He Provided 5 points and 3.7 assist per game in 7 games while coming off the bench. The Nighthawks lost to the Ottawa BlackJacks in the Quarter-finals on August 6[7]

Charvis retuned to Guelph for the 2021 CEBL season where he played in all games expect 2, (10 games) where he averaged 5 points on almost .400 from the 3. Once again the Nighthawks lost in the Quarter-finals this time to Fraser Valley Bandits[8]

Newfoundland Rogues (2021)

Charvis signed with the new expansion Newfoundland Rogues located in Saint John, New Brunswick who play in The Basketball League In 6 games with the Rogues, Charvis averaged 10 points, 2 assist and 3 rebounds a night.[9] Then on December 12, 2021 he announced that he was leaving the team and signing with Itzehoe Eagles in germany.

Itzehoe Eagles (2022)

Charvis signed a contract for the 2022 season with the Itzehoe Eagles Basketball club located in Itzehoe
