Musen Mata is a small village of 469 hectares in Atru Tehsil in Baran district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Musen Mata depends on Baran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 202.00% of the total supply, One tank, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Musen Mata is also surrounded by Two lakes. They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Baran to sell agricultural produce and make their living.
