Muradpur is a small village of 617 hectares in Buhana Tehsil in Jhunjhunu district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Muradpur depends on KHETRI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Muradpur is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Well. Muradpur's pin code is 333516[4], and village code is 00726400. The area of Muradpur is segregated as 20 hectares irrigated area, 507 hectares unirrigated, remaining 90.04 hectare area not available for cultivation.
