Mundgasa is a small village of 371 hectares in Hindoli Tehsil in Bundi district, also known as a city of stepwells in the State of Rajasthan, India.[1] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mundgasa depends on BUNDI, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[2] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, which is 30.00% of the total supply, Two tanks, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, One canal and Two springs. Mundgasa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mundgasa's pin code is 323024[3], and village code is 02709900. The area of Mundgasa is segregated as 186 hectares irrigated area, 90 hectares unirrigated, the 36 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 59 hectare area not available for cultivation.

They depend on the agricultural markets (Mandi) of the nearby towns of Bundi to sell juggery and make their living.
