Mundawa is a small village of 527 hectares in Jaitaran Tehsil in Pali district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mundawa depends on Jaitaran, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include One tap, Two Wells supply, One tank, Two tubewells, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - Two rivers, Two canals and Two springs. Mundawa is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mundawa's pin code is 306709[4], and village code is 02391700. The area of Mundawa is segregated as 100 hectares irrigated area, 343 hectares unirrigated, the 8 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 76 hectare area not available for cultivation.
