Mundana is a small village of 496 hectares in Tijara Tehsil in Alwar district in the State of Rajasthan, India.[2] The village is administrated by a sarpanch who is elected representative of the village by the local elections. Mundana depends on TIJARA, the nearest town for all major economic activities.[3] The village has government-provided water facilities that include Two taps, One Well supply, Two tanks, One tubewell, and One handpump. The villagers also acquire water from some of the natural water sources - One river, Two canals and Two springs. Mundana is also surrounded by Two lakes. The population of the village depends on the source of drinking water during summer on Handpump. Mundana's pin code is 301411[4], and village code is 00810700. The area of Mundana is segregated as 443.27 hectares irrigated area, 4 hectares unirrigated, the 19 hectare area under culturable waste (including gauchar and groves), and remaining 30 hectare area not available for cultivation.
