Mukesh Chhabra (born May 27, 1980) is an Indian casting director, film director, and actor. He made his directorial debut in 2020 with the "Dil Bechara" movie.[1][2]. He worked as a casting director in many films like Dangal, Chhichhore, Kai Po Che, Gangs of Wasseypur, and Super 30.[3] Under his casting company, he found stars like Sushant Singh Rajput, Rajkumar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sanya Malhotra, and many more.[4] Apart from this, he also worked as an actor in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra's film Rang De Basanti, along with Kunal Kapoor and Aamir Khan, Kaminey, Gangs of Wasseypur, and Te3n.[5]
Early life and education
Mukesh Chhabra was born on May 27, 1980, in Delhi, India, to TC Chhabra and Kamla Chhabra.He graduated with an acting diploma from Sri Ram Centre of Performing Arts,Delhi.[6]
Career
Mukesh Chhabra acted in the Rang De Basanti movie, and recently he acted in the Atlee film Jawan and also worked as a casting director.[7]Before Jawaan, he also worked as a casting director in Gangs of Wasseypur, Kai Po Che, Shahid, Hasee Toh Phasee, Highway, Bhoothnath Returns, Bombay Velvet, Ugly, Peekay, Haider, and many more.[8]
