Muhongayire Jacqueline was born 28 August 1961, she was a senator in Parliament of Rwanda in July 2014 as a member of Social Democratic Party (PSD), She worked as EAC Minister for a period of one year . She has been in the East African Legislative Assembly for five years.

Jacqueline was born in 28 August 1961 she is Married with three children[1]
Education
Jacqueline holds bachelor's degree in accounting, she also holds a Master’s degree in project management[1]. she studied politics and international relation in Free university of brussels|Free university of Brussel Belgium.[2][3]
Political career
Jaqueline was a member of the Social Democratic Party (Rwanda)|Social Democratic Party(PSD) and outgoing Member of 1983 Rwandan parliamentary election Before heading to EALA, she worked as a lawmaker for 12 years and was appointed to represent her party in the Transitional National Assembly.[4]
