Muhammad Usman Farooq (Urdu: محمد عثمان فاروق, Born 01 January 1996) is a Pakistani Civil Engineer, Academician and Public speaker. He became Head of department in university at the age of 21, makes him the youngest Pakistani to head a department in University.
Education
He has done his matriculation from Sir Syed Model High School, Hasilpur. The duration of his study was from 2007 - 2009. He has done his intermediate (Pre-Engineering) from Government Boys Degree College, Hasilpur from 2009 to 2011. In September 2011 he got admission in University of South Asia, Lahore, Pakistan for his undergraduate in Civil Engineering. He completed his degree in 2015 with PEC number Civil/49916. Then he done his graduation in Construction & Engineering Management from Superior University from 2015 to 2017. He then after getting professional experience got enrolled in post graduation in Management Sciences & Engineering from Jiangsu University, Jiangsu, China.
Professional Experience
- He served his own startup named M/S FHF Engineers as Managing Director from 2016 to Feb 2017. This was a contractor firm worked with Pakistan Railways and the consultant was RailCop. He handled following construction projects.

- In 2019 he joined the University of Sialkot, Sialkot and served there. Here he also got the same position of Head of Civil Engineering department.
Awards
He got nominated for Best University Teacher Award BUTA 2022 - 2023 from University of Sialkot among more than 700 faculty members.
He won presidential scholarship (Category A) for his post graduation in Jiangsu - China.
