Muhammad Shafi'u Abdullahi was born in Zaria City, Kaduna state Nigeria. He is the current acting registrar and founder of National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS). He is a professor of Arabic from Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, Nigeria who is the founder of Ameer Shehu Idris College of Advanced Studies, Zaria.[1][2][3][4][5]

Shafi'u was born in Zaria where he did his western system of education and religious education.[2][6]
Career
Shafi'u is a professor and senior lecturer at Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. He is the registrar of National Board for Arabic and Islamic Studies (NBAIS) and the founder of Ameer Shehu Idris College of Advanced Studies, Zaria.[2][3]
