Muhammad Asim Khattak, "Pashto محمد عاصم خټک "Pashto" born in Ameer[1] village Nizampur, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, hails from an ethnic Pashtun people family that belongs to Khattak tribe of the Pashtuns. Muhammad Asim khattak is a Civil service, bureaucrat of the prestigious Central Superior Services. He graduated in Political science and Economics and holds Master's degrees in both Political science and Economics respectively from the "University of Peshawar. He has also attended National University of Sciences & Technology, Islamabad for "MBA" Master's in Business administration.

Civil Services of Pakistan

Muhammad Asim Khattak joined the Central Superior Services of Pakistan in 2001. After qualifying the Central Superior Services exam he was commissioned into the Inland revenue services also known as Federal Board of Revenu Pakistan[2] in 2001.[2][2]He has served as an Assistant commissioner Nowshera, Deputy comissioner, Second secretary FBR, Secretary budget and Secretary Administration Federal board of revenue Pakistan. He also served as an Additional commissioner Inland Revenue,[3] (OPS) Regional Tax Office, Rawalpindi Pakistan. [4] He has also served as Secretary "IR" in Federal Board of Revenue Pakistan.[5] Muhammad Asim khattak served as Deputy Secretary (EF-Policy-II) 2014, in Ministry of finance Pakistan[6] during the ministerial tenure of finance minister Ishaq Dar in which Pakistan's economy attained relative success and financial stability.[7] After working in the Ministry of finance, Muhammad Asim khattak worked as Secretary "Expenditure" in the Federal board of revenue Pakistan (HQ-Headquarters).[8][9] In the year "2016" he assumed the charge of Secretary Finance in the Ministry of Finance department of Khyber pukhtoonkhwa[10] government[11].[12] On March 20th,2020, Prime minister Imran khan approved the promotion summary of senior civil servants, bureaucrats of Central Superior Services forwarded by the Establishment Division in which Muhammad Asim khattak was promoted to "Bs-20".[13][14]He is currently posted as Commissioner Federal Board of Revenue,[15] Karachi Pakistan.
